In our business, we work cold cases. Estates which have languished for years and sometimes decades. We start with a presumably deceased person and money that they would have been entitled to if they had lived. Generally, we must do an extensive genealogy on the family to find heirs. Sometimes these heirs are 2-5 generations removed from the person we start with and they may not even know the name of their benefactor when we tell them.
It may take us many months of tedious research and expense to solve a case and to find the heirs. ALL heirs must be found and cooperate in order for us to file and prove their claims in a court of law.
We found you, the owners of those assets. We use many sources of information to find you, including large amounts of shoe leather. That's almost unheard of in the computer age, but it's true. You won't find another company that works as hard as we do to find people and re-unite them with their assets.(and sometimes family members)
Once we determine that you are the rightful owner, and you tell us you want to make the claim, we assist you every step of the way.
This is often a client's first reaction to our letter telling them we have found money for them. I am sure that I would also be skeptical if I received a letter out of the blue telling me someone had found money for me.
The way our company works, we never ask for money up front- we pay all expenses. We don't get paid until you do. Does this still sound a little too good to be true and are you still wondering where the catch is?
Since you received a letter from us and it was sent through the mail. It's easy enough to call the Post Office in your area to find out if our company is on their fraudulent list.
After you check us out and see we are legitimate, we hope you are beginning to think this really is true. You most likely knew nothing about all of this and would never have known about if 3C Options had not contacted you.
Skepticism. People often have a hard time believing they are owed money. And frankly, some of the amounts are a little unbelievable. But the money is real, and if the people we find do not claim it, it will literally sit unclaimed forever.
Healthy skepticism is a good thing. A lot of companies are scams, but all they do is sell you a list of websites. If finding and collecting your money was that easy, it would never have gotten lost in the first place. Any company that requests money before you have collected yours should be viewed skeptically. Be suspicious of any company that charges exorbitant fees. Some companies charge thirty-five, or even as high as fifty percent of your recovered assets and you pay the attorney fees on top of that.
We have spent long hours doing research to determine the legal owner of the assets. If we have contacted you we are over 95% positive, but sometimes there is not enough information supplied by the holder of the funds, so it takes a conversation with you to make the final determination.
So call us!
We are happy for that (probably not as happy as your are!) but occasionally we run across people who are still living. We started our research with the assumption that the person is deceased due to the amount of money and that it has been missing for a long time. But if you heard from us, we are very sure this money is yours.
We do work with living clients whose assets are lost. Many of our clients are too busy, don't want to deal with the headache or would prefer to work through an attorney. We will assist you every step of the way. Guiding you in collecting the necessary documentation so you can prove your claim.
We think so or we wouldn't have contacted you! Our feeling is that whatever amount of money you get it is more than you have right now!
It can come from inheritances, former employers, banks, brokerages, insurance, oil, real property and many different government agencies.
Obviously, after all the work we've done, we need to be assured that we're going to eventually get paid! We really enjoy this work but unfortunately we cannot afford to work for free. So, we ask that you sign a very simple contract with us. Please feel free to show it to anyone whose opinion you trust.
If your case requires legal work, we will contact a local attorney and the contract will be with that attorney.
Our contract basically says that if we aren't able to recover money for you, then it is null and void and you never owe anything! We are taking all the risk so you have absolutely nothing to lose. We pay all fees. If we're successful in getting your funds and you get paid, then, and only then, do we collect our commission.
If your case requires legal work, we will contact a local attorney and your contract will be with them.
Generally (but not always) we have several heirs or beneficiaries who are entitled to claim funds in a case. ALL heirs have to be on board.
Once your contract has been returned, we may request additional information or records from you. We need to prove you to the deceased person, or if you are living there are a certain amount of documentation required to prove that the money is yours.
Then it's important you sign a simple statement indicating that you do not wish to collect your share of this money and you want your share to be divided among the remaining heirs. Your statement will need to be notarized and you will be required to furnish positive identification. This will allow the other heirs to divide your share equally. If you don't do anything, you jeopardize collection for the other heirs.
We work on a contingency fee basis. That means we do not get paid unless you do. This is very important. If you do not collect your money, you owe us nothing. You'll see our fee in the agreement we send you, but it will never be over 15% of the assets. It may vary somewhat depending upon where the money is coming from and how much legal work is required. We make that determination before the contract is signed and there will never be surprise fees. We pay all expenses and attorney fees which are taken from our commission.
It depends upon how long it takes to get all the necessary documentation, which court hears the case, how complicated the probate is and which agencies are holding the assets. This is highly variable. The biggest factor depends on the entity holding your money. Some holders may take a month or two, but some holders, notably government agencies, may take much longer.
