Every year people die without a will (called dying intestate) often leaving substantial cash and property. Unlike traditional genealogy which traces family lines into the distant past, we find living relatives who often have lost touch with their family and in a large number of cases have no idea of their family link.
In many cases there is no obvious heir who will inherit the estate under the rules of intestacy, so clearly there is a need to find the closest family members. Beneficiaries typically may have moved to other states, even to other countries so finding heirs to some estates is both time consuming and costly.
That is where we come in.
